Devil's Peak

In 2012 a love marriage was held in Pennsylvania. The bride’s name was Jennifer and the groom’s name was Randall. They knew each other since college. It was a very palatial event. After the wedding they went to Deadwood, South Dakota for their honeymoon. It was 50 miles north of Mount. Rushmore. Close to this mountain was another infamous peak called the Devil’s Peak. It was acclaimed for its spine-chilling episodes of brutal deaths. Jennifer had an intrepid and enthralled personality. She cherished hiking and going on camping. Jennifer was audacious. She was against fallacy thinking. One day a party was held in the hotel they were staying. When she was standing near the drinks counter, she heard some riveting gossip. Upon eavesdropping, she heard some aged individuals, “Do you know!? Another person was found dead on the Devil’s Peak. He was barbarically murdered. His eyeballs had popped out and was difficult to verify. Even while narrating I am feeling perilous.” Jennifer was an...

Our trip to Ladakh was impulsive and without any prior planning. John, Steve, Sara, Maria and me that is Mary, went on a bike-trip to Leh in Ladakh. We were hoping to have a lot of fun, but rather we came back with an uncanny experience. This incident is engraved on our hearts forever……   We all knew how to ride bikes. We were super excited about this trip and when it got late we would just stop for the day and resume the next morning. Due to the high altitude it was tough but we were stubborn and we didn’t want to stop. After a few days of biking prodigiously we wanted to stop and rest for a longer time. So we started searching for a resort and ended up reaching an eerie place, most abruptly. W e were jovial and we went inside. It was a two-storey resort. The most unusual thing was that there was no network coverage. When we enquired we found that the resort was handled by a couple Amrita and Tanzing. We were enervated and ravenous. Amrita could tell that by just looking at us...

Diana, the Corpse Baxster

My name is Aurora Martin and this is my story. When I was twelve years old I got in with the bad crowd. I made the mistake of learning their bad habits instantaneously. When I lived in Vienna there was a renowned bakery there by the name of ‘Blossom Bakery.’ My grandmother had always warned me to not to step into that bakery. I used to question her but she never answered. My grandmother died when I was fourteen. I really couldn’t understand what happened as most of the time I was zoned out.   A year later my group decided to have an adventurous night out. My group included all the spoilt and the bullies. Their names were John, Jose, Jean, Caroline, Ava and me. We all went to Ava’s house to decide the location for our night out. All of a sudden Caroline thought of Blossom Bakery and we were all going to regret this one day……… My gut feeling was clearly forewarning me to not to go there. But to show my loyalty towards the group I decided to hang with them. When we strode insi...

Once upon a time in 1901 there lived a French family in a two-storey house in United States. The family included Celesti Aubert, Raphael Aubert and their daughter Cosette Aubert. Celesti and Raphael used to fight a lot because of money problems. Cosette was ten years old and was very sad because of the fights. One night her father came home drunk and killed her mother. Then he killed himself and Cosette. After four decades a British family decided to move into the same house.  The family included Mr. Robert, Mrs.  Jules and their son Michael. They were a middle-class family. Mr Robert and Mrs Jules had good relations. Their son was twelve years old. He was being home schooled as he was autistic. One day Mrs. Jules was keeping the unused furniture in the basement. There she saw a very beautiful and attractive mirror. She thought, this mirror will look stunning in her living room. Then she kept it in the living room beside her late mother’s photograph.  One night Micha...
