Devil's Peak
In 2012 a love marriage was held in Pennsylvania. The bride’s name was Jennifer and the groom’s name was Randall. They knew each other since college. It was a very palatial event. After the wedding they went to Deadwood, South Dakota for their honeymoon. It was 50 miles north of Mount. Rushmore. Close to this mountain was another infamous peak called the Devil’s Peak. It was acclaimed for its spine-chilling episodes of brutal deaths.
Jennifer had an intrepid and enthralled personality. She cherished hiking and going on camping. Jennifer was audacious. She was against fallacy thinking. One day a party was held in the hotel they were staying. When she was standing near the drinks counter, she heard some riveting gossip. Upon eavesdropping, she heard some aged individuals, “Do you know!? Another person was found dead on the Devil’s Peak. He was barbarically murdered. His eyeballs had popped out and was difficult to verify. Even while narrating I am feeling perilous.” Jennifer was annoyed after listening to this. She thought that it was balderdash.
The next day she persuaded Randall to go on a trek to Devil’s Peak. She didn’t forewarn him about the macabre episodes of deaths. In reality, she wanted to go there to do an enquiry herself. The peak was six kilometers far from their hotel. On the way, in the car she saw a bird hovering and flying towards her. She was not afraid of birds but somehow, this bird was making her vexed. As they went further the bird started coming closer and hit itself right in the windshield of the car. The driver jerked and stopped the car. Everybody was flummoxed. The couple stepped out of the car and saw a dead bird. Jennifer’s eyes widened. She started to question her decision. Hopefully, she will not regret this……
